Loose trailer kills woman on Interstate 10

A motorist died after her vehicle was hit head-on by a trailer that had come loose from a truck and crossed the I-10 median in Jackson County, Mississippi.
The victim’s name has not been release.
A highway patrol spokesman says the accident happened Wednesday after a trailer broke loose from a westbound pickup, and the trailer crossed the median, hitting the woman’s Toyota in the eastbound lanes of I-10 at the Alabama state line.
Truck’s driver was not injured.

In your state no regulations exist on these trailers just under 3,000 pounds. A family was wiped out in Idaho last month and over 400 people die from these each year, and what do we do.. nothing… not me.
