LITTLE ROCK (AP) – Arkansas State Police say a person found dead on Interstate 30 in downtown Little Rock appears to be the victim of a homicide.
Police were summoned at 3:45 a.m. Thursday after a motorist saw a body in the westbound lanes of the highway near the exit for Cantrell Road.
State police spokesman Bill Sadler says an examination of the body indicated the person was a victim of a homicide. Sadler would not provide further details but said more information may be available later in the day.
Traffic was blocked on the westbound lanes for several hours.
