A Dade City man was killed Thursday after he was dragged and run over by a pickup truck during a fight.
Eugene Austin Pickett, 56, was standing next to a pickup on Mosstown Drive, just west of U.S. 301 in Pasco County, when a fight broke out between him and the driver, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
About 8:30 p.m., Pickett reached into the pickup, and the driver took off westbound on Mosstown, dragging Pickett until he fell and was run over by the vehicle, troopers said
Authorities are still looking for the driver of the white pickup with a blue driver’s-side door.
