Twenty-four-year-old Specialist Marques Knight died on September 6, in Afghanistan. He died of injuries received from small arms fire.
Specialist Knight was assigned to Fort Hood, Texas.
His mother resides in Altamonte Springs, Florida and his father is from Dothan, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held this Saturday, September 20th at 1 p.m. afternoon at Greater Beulah Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
