Services Set for Pilot Killed in Iraq

Chief Warrant Officer Donald Clark’s funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Park.

He was killed when a military helicopter made a hard landing after hitting wires in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.

The military said that the incident appears to be combat-unrelated and there was no enemy contact in the area.

Clark is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and his wife live here in Newton.

He was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, Task Force 49 in the U.S. Army.
