A Fulton County jury convicted a College Park man Friday in the 2007 shooting death of one man and assault of a second.
Soniel Donovan Cheddersingh, 22, was immediately sentenced to two consecutive life sentences plus 25 years following the jury’s verdict, officials said.
Officials said Cheddersingh and two unknown males invaded an apartment on Godby Road in College Park March 1, 2007, and shot to death Michael Walker, 22. Anthony Mack was robbed and shot but survived.
Police said Cheddersingh used an AK-47 in the incident.
