RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. — A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed while standing on a city street, Riviera Beach police said.The boy, later identified as Anthony Hill, was standing in the roadway at the intersection of Avenue I and Ninth Street at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Hill was brought to St. Mary’s Medical Center in a personal vehicle. He later died at the hospital.Detectives spent the overnight hours searching apartments on Ninth Street for clues that would help them in the investigation.A neighbor told WPBF 25 News that Hill may have been coming to the area to see friends.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Riviera Beach police.
