Channel 2 Action News A driver was killed in south Forsyth County when a tree fell on an SUV Wednesday afternoon.
A man died during the height of the Wednesday afternoon storms when a pine tree fell on top of an SUV in south Forsyth County.
The tree crushed the front of a GMC Yukon on Brookwood Road, about 150 yards north of McGinnis Ferry Road, Capt. Tim House with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office told the AJC.
A passerby called 911 to report the tree on top of the SUV around 2:15 p.m., House said. No one else was inside the vehicle at the time. Investigators believe the man died instantly.
