SAN ANTONIO — Police are asking members of the community to come forward with any information regarding the death of Bexar County Constable Sgt. Mark Scianna last August.
Scianna’s life was cut short when he lost control of his patrol car while chasing suspects down Locke Hill Selma Road. Colleagues say they don’t know why Scianna pursued the vehicle, but they believe drugs could’ve been a factor due to the prevalence of drug dealing in the area near the accident.
Investigators acknowledge they have some leads, but they believe it’s pivotal to the case for any citizens to come forward with pertinent information.
