NORTH ARLINGTON Army Pfc. LeRoy DeRonde III, a Jersey City native who was killed in action in Afghanistan last month, was buried Saturday morning in a military funeral.DeRonde, 22, was buried in the 9/11 Heroes section of the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, directly across from a monument built to honor those who perished in the attacks or in combat in Iraq or Afghanistan.The Rev. Everett Zabriske of the Reformed Church of Jersey City presided over DeRondes funeral, a full military service conducted by members of the Army Honor Guard. The service included a seven-gun, 21-round salute, and the playing of taps.
