The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says 60-year-old Jeanette Coleman, of Macon, was sitting in the back seat of a Ford Explorer when she fell out of the moving vehicle on I-75 early Sunday.
WMAZ-TV reports Coleman died later that day at a hospital.
Two other people were in the vehicle when she fell, including the driver. The sheriff’s department says it’s reviewing what happened, but foul play isn’t suspected.
