YORK, S.C. — Investigators say a driver hit and killed a man on a York street, when drove away without calling authorities.York Police say someone called 911 around 4:45 a.m. Saturday to report a body in the middle of a road. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.Authorities say evidence at the scene shows the man was hit by a vehicle.
The man’s name has not been released because his family has not been notified.
