A woman was shot and killed in Escambia County Tuesday evening. The shooting happened about 7:25 p.m. at a home in the area of Wales Avenue and Houston Avenue, off Mobile Highway.
The incident is under investigation by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Further details have not been released.
