OCEAN SPRINGS — Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd says a truck driven by an off-duty Pascagoula policeman killed a 16-year-old Ocean Springs girl.
He says Katelyn Braun and a friend were walking in a street when she was hit Friday evening by the truck driven by Daniel Snyder, who was not arrested. She died Saturday afternoon.
