Texas Woman Killed, Kids Injured In Crash With Fleeing Vehicle

HOUSTON (May 24, 2013)—A 43-year-old woman died and her three children were injured when their car was struck at a Houston intersection by another car in which shoplifting suspects were fleeing police.

The chase began outside a shopping mall in suburban Humble and ended miles later in northeast Houston when the fleeing vehicle in which three women were riding ran a red light and crashed into the car in which the woman and her children were riding.

5 dead in Illinois van crash | News – Home

According to a preliminary report from the Illinois State Police, the 15-passenger van was headed east on Interstate 70 when it veered off the roadway and flipped several times. Several occupants were ejected from the van.

There were 11 men in the one-vehicle crash. The other six passengers were transported to hospitals. Their conditions are unknown.

1 dead, 3 injured in Northside crash | News – Home

Police were called to the crash in the 12500 block of Dunn Creek Road in which Benjamin Allgary, a passenger in the vehicle, died.

Police said an Acura with four people in it was heading south on Dunn Creek at a high speed and struck a bump as it passed through the intersection at New Berlin Road. Investigators said the car left the east side of the roadway and traveled across a shallow ditch, through three fences, two yards, a driveway, and into a large pine tree.

Allgary died at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt.

Two dead in DeBeque Canyon rollover

MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) — Two people are dead in a tragic accident Thursday night.

The crash occurred in DeBeque Canyon around Interstate 70 milemarker 57 just before 9:30 p.m.

According to Colorado State Patrol, two men were heading eastbound in a 1996 Honda Civic when the driver lost control, hit a barrier and rolled. The two occupants — a 25-year-old and a 31-year-old — died at the scene.

Woman Dies in Early Morning Pin-in Accident

One person is dead and another is hospitalized after an early morning pin-in accident.

Wichita Falls Police Sergeant John Spragins says the crash happened just after 5 this morning on Southwest Parkway and McNiel.

He says a black Honda Civic was southbound on McNiel and had a flashing red traffic light and a semi was traveling westbound on Southwest Parkway and had a flashing yellow traffic light.
