Carlin man to plead in baby’s 1995 death – Las Vegas Sun News


ELKO, Nev. (AP) — A Carlin man who spent more than 16 years in prison for a murder conviction that was overturned by the Nevada Supreme Court in 2012 has agreed to plead to an involuntary manslaughter charge in the case.

After the case was sent back to Elko District Court, District Attorney Mark Torvinen said he would retry Patrick McCormick for the 1995 murder of 14-month-old Jacob Jones.
