One of the Rockdale County twins accused of brutally killing their mother in 2010 might make a plea, authorities said.
Now 20, Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead were 16 when they were charged as adults for murder in connection with the January 2010 stabbing death of Jarmecca “Nikki” Whitehead.
“Tas” is set to appear in court Thursday afternoon for a plea hearing, authorities said.
It is unclear what deal prosecutors have offered to her and whether she actually will accept the terms and make a guilty plea, but she faces malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and weapons charges.
