Rebecca Jackson’s smile could light up any room.
That’s what her coworker and friend, Dana Kelley, will remember most about her.
“She was just a happy, sweet person,” said Kelley, who worked with Jackson for two years at Flowers Hospital. “She’d do anything for you, and no matter what was going on in her life, she kept that smile.”
Jackson was strangled Wednesday night and police have charged her ex-husband, 44-year-old Willie Charles Toney, with capital murder for her death.
Kelley said everyone who knew Jackson loved her, and there were a lot of people who knew her.
“I always thought she was older than me, because she was always giving me advice,” Kelley said. “The advice she gave was always good advice. She finally asked how old I was and we realized I was older than her.”
