Woman pleads guilty to 2013 murder of Shelton State student | Crime Beat

One of four people charged in the death of a Shelton State student last year has pleaded guilty.Tamarra Shavon Wilder, 19, pleaded guilty to murder in Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court last Thursday. She is one of four defendants accused in the death of Hunter Callahan, a 17-year-old college student from Marengo County.Callahan was found shot to death in the parking lot of River Road Condominiums on April 9, 2013. According to investigators at the time, Wilder told police that she drove the suspects to the complex that night and witnessed the shooting.The four met with Callahan under the guise of a drug transaction, authorities said, but actually intended to rob him of drugs and money.Wilder was released from the Tuscaloosa County Jail after entering the guilty plea. She will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device until her sentencing date, which has not been set, according to court documents.
