BALTIMORE — Baltimore police said the manager of a Family Dollar store was arrested in South Carolina on charges that she killed an employee during an apparent robbery.
Alice Collins, 37, was charged in a warrant with first-degree murder, armed robbery and other crimes. She was arrested on Tuesday. Police spokesman Donny Moses said detectives are working to extradite Collins. She is being held in the Darlington County Detention Center in South Carolina.
Elizabeth Queensbury, 51, was found stabbed multiple times on July 22 in the store at the Mount Clare Junction Shopping Center on West Pratt Street where she was an assistant manager.
